Peanut Butter Butterscotch Chippers

All these snow days are going to make me fat. Seriously. I stay home all day baking. And of course, the minute I saw this recipe I had to try them out.















They were definitely up there with the best cookies in the world. I substituted white whole wheat flour to make me feel less guilty and they were still amazing. Good thing my sister is coming over to bring what's left to my dad so I don't eat anymore!!

Coconut Cake

Happy Birthday Daddy! I was nominated to make the cake for my dad's birthday this year because I'm always looking for an excuse to bake something. And I honestly don't think I've ever baked a cake. I'm not a cake person - or at least I never was. Enter Jamie's Coconut Cake.




















The cake was so moist and delicious. I think that using coconut milk instead of regular milk really made the difference. And it was pretty easy to make. Although I could definitely use some work on my cake decorating skills...
